Culinary Hub Concept Project

This concept project was designed by Veronica Domenichiello as her thesis project in 2018. The Education & Distribution Culinary Hub is a facility that offers resources for all members of the community while focusing on providing food security. The design approach to this project sprouted from the ideas implemented by Paint Box Bistro & Catering, and Second Harvest Food Rescue. They aim to provide hierarchal transparency between workers, volunteers, and all users of the space. By applying this idea to the design, it achieves visual transparency between various spaces within the interior. The goal is to blur the lines of authority within a community. It is also to create a meaningful experience for all users by applying the notion of inclusiveness.
